I always fly fish with a strike indicator while I nymph fish , So, my question is how do you know when a trout takes your nymph with out a strike indicator ? I mean they take a nymph very softly , so I am a little confused . Will you feel them hit it , or would you just give a quick jerk every now and again ? Any help would be greatly appreciated .

OK so i went fishing and i only came home with one trout... bummer right.
