I'd like to know the easiest methods to cook cod & salmon fish. Is it possible to boil them without having the fishy smell in it? Or is baking a better option? I much prefer to boil it as it seems to be a much healthier method... I think.

i love fishing salmon and trout, but i have no really good idea what to use. my record is a 20 pound salmon, but i can't remember what i used to cathc it. normally when i go fishing i have a silver/gold huck* and 20 cm longer op i have a fly, it works really good, but i wanna have something else, maybe something what you guys use for fishing salmon and trout. my questions are :
1. what bide should i use
2. what clock should i go fishing?
3. should i use small hocks* or big Hocks*?
4. what coller should the hocks* be?
5. should i use bide, hucks* or something else?

I thought you could only catch trout on a fly rod but then I heard that you can on a cast & reel rod too, So Im leaving to go on the 9th of Oct, 2010 and need to know what I should pick up as far as bait, line (lbs test) and any other advice I can get about river fishing for trout this time of year with a cast and reel rod. Thanks!
I have a new website out there devoted to Minnesota steelhead fishing. Looking for some constructive feedback.
The site: minnesotasteelheader.com has been up since Late april but is only now looking complete. This is a work in progress....thanks!
