    Hey,

Thats funny. I live in British Columbia and I just got back from Southern California on a bass fishing trip.

As far as fishing for salmon, you can’t beat the west coast of Vancouver Island. Boats routinely catch 15-30 salmon a day out there, and you can also catch huge halibut up to 150 pounds. I recommend getting a charter out of Tofino or Uclulet.

The Queen Charlotte Islands are also a salmon fishing paradise, and a little more remote than Vancouver Island. Use google to find a fishing lodge, there are plenty of them up there.

Most charter companies can get a licence for you, or you can buy your own saltwater non-residence licence at any tackle shop, walmart, or canadian tire.

Good luck! June through August are the best months for sure.
