I'm going to be going steelhead trout fishing for the first time on Lake Erie! Anyone ever been there?

I'm not a great fisherman but I love to do it and this would be my first time going there. I just got new waders and I'm just curious if anyone has been there and what they think of it???
my nfather in law does and he catch’s a lot good luck
Everything is frozen and you wont be able to fish until it thaws.
i usually fish bass pike and pickerel in north ontario but fishing on the big water is always fun get to play with down riggers and the catch is so much bigger
